Winter 2012
Time to say good-bye to my beautiful little garden in South-West Victoria,
and hello to gardening like a gypsy!
I know! How am I going to do that?!
Well....being the footloose and fancy-free types we have morphed into, we shall be dividing our time between different places in Australia.
I shall have to take the opportunity to till the soil when and where I can.
It's not like - I can't NOT garden.
If there's one thing I know about myself and my life, it's that I shall always have to plant little seeds into the ground and share my life with plants.
At the moment, we are in my Mum and Dad's lovely garden in South-East Queensland on top of mountain.
Queensland is kinda sub-tropical but here, where they live, it gets rather chilly.
So I have been busy planting peas:
Snow Peas
Sugar Snap Peas
Telegraph Pole Peas.
Some Baby Broccoli,
Pak Choi,
Leeks,
Potatoes,
Sweet Peas,
Pansies,
Snap Dragons,
Alyssum,
Bulbs - Dutch Iris, Grape Hyacinth, Narcissus.
Do Mum and Dad want all these vegies in their garden?
Huh?
Is that a consideration?!
